Friends of the BINZ39 (2008-2018)

Between 1990 and 1995, the BINZ39 Foundation was significantly involved in the ARTEST project.This led to an intensive exchange between Zurich and Scuol in the Engadin withBulgaria, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, which will again be represented by the program Friends of BINZ39 2008 - 2018is activated. Thanks to the support of the Friends of BINZ39, the foundation was able to establish a cooperation with the CCA (Center of Contemporary Art- Tbilisi) in Georgia, the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts and with the Free University of Tbilisi. From these collaborations the two projects "Artist in Residence Zurich" and "Swiss Artist in Residence Tbilisi". Aim of these scholarships was to promote the exchange of artists from Georgia and Switzerland.


NAIRS Foundation



In addition to the Zurich location, the BINZ39 foundation also operated for years in Scuol Engadina cultural center, which since 2005 has been operating independently as the NAIRS Cultural Foundation by Christof Röschand is supported by the canton of Graubünden.
